Most households today, regardless of income, depend upon two wage-earners. This is putting many businesses in Michigan at a disadvantage in recruiting professional/technical employees from outside the region, because trailing partners are unsure whether they will find suitable employment. This is especially the case for households where both individuals are in professional/technical occupations.
Fortunately, job opportunities exist in our region; the challenge is making the match between employers and the qualified workers moving into the area. The purpose of this web site is to create an occupational database for professional/technical workers to assist in their search for employment.
